Adrián "Adri" Embarba Blázquez (Spanish pronunciation:[aˈðɾjanˈaðɾjemˈbaɾβaˈβlaθkeθ];[a] born 7 May 1992) is a Spanish professionalfootballer who plays as aright winger forSegunda División clubAlmería.
Born inMadrid, Embarba finished his development with localGetafe CF after youth spells with neighbouringReal Madrid,RSD Alcalá andCD Leganés.[2] He made his senior debut in the2011–12 season withCD Marchamalo inCastilla–La Mancha,[3] scoring six goals in theTercera División.
Embarba signed withRCD Carabanchel in June 2012.[4]

In July 2013, Embarba joinedRayo Vallecano, being assigned tothe reserves also in the fourth tier.[5] He made his first-team – andLa Liga – debut on 30 August,coming off the bench for injuredIago Falque and playing 65 minutes in a 2–1 home defeat againstLevante UD.[6]
On 12 June 2014, Embarba signed a new three-year deal with Rayo, being definitely promoted to the main squad.[7] He scored his first professional goal on 14 March of the following year, the last in the 3–1 win overGranada CF also at theCampo de Fútbol de Vallecas.[8]
Embarba contributed two goals in 28 appearances during the2015–16 campaign, as the club suffered relegation. On 8 October 2017, he scored a brace in a 4–1Segunda División home rout ofReal Valladolid.[9]
On 19 December 2017, after establishing himself as a regular starter, Embarba renewed his contract until 2021.[10] He achieved promotion to the top flight in2017–18, scoring eight times and adding 14assists in the process.[11]
Embarba transferred toRCD Espanyol on 23 January 2020, after his €10 millionrelease clause was paid.[12] After being relegated in hisfirst season, he helped his side to return to the main division inthe second by scoring a career-best nine goals.[13][14]
Embarba featured much less in2021–22 (also failing to find the net), mainly due to a run-in with managerVicente Moreno early into the campaign.[14]
On 24 August 2022, Embarba moved toUD Almería,newly promoted to the top tier.[15] He scored four goals and provided three assists in hisdebut campaign, with his team managing to stay afloat.[16]
On 26 July 2024, aftersuffering relegation, Embarba returned to Rayo after 11 years, agreeing to a one-year loan deal.[17]
Embarba's second cousin,Isaac, is also a footballer. Amidfielder, he also played for Rayo.[18]
