Adrián José Gabbarini (born 10 October 1985 inGuaymallén) is an Argentinefootballcoach and former player who played as agoalkeeper. He is the current assistant manager of Ecuadorian sideLDU Quito.
Gabbarini played youth football for local clubs inMendoza Province before joining Independiente in 2006. He served as a reserve goalkeeper for several years without making any first team appearances. He made his breakthrough into the first team coming on as a 72nd-minute substitute in a 2–1 away defeat to Estudiantes de La Plata on 13 September 2009. He served as the regular first team goalkeeper for the remainder of theApertura 2009 tournament.
After playing forLDU Quito, Gabbarini retired in 2023, and subsequently became the club's assistant manager. He was also a manager of the club in both legs of the2024 Recopa Sudamericana, as managerJosep Alcácer did not have the CONMEBOL qualifications to manage the club.[2]
