TheHonda HR35TT engine (also called theAcura AR35TT) is atwin-turbocharged,four-stroke, 3.5-liter,V6racingengine, designed and produced byHonda Performance Development (HPD) for use in multiplerace cars, from 2014.

Overview

The HR35TT, like its predecessorHR28TT, is derived from the productionJ35 family of engines found in numerousHonda/Acura production vehicles.[2] It features steel crankshaft and rods, dry sump oiling,direct fuel injection andHPD/McLaren engine management.[3] The HR35TT is designed to produce roughly 600 hp (450 kW) at 8,500rpm and 500 lb⋅ft (680 N⋅m) at 6,000 rpm.[4] The engine made its debut at the2014 12 Hours of Sebring in aStarworks Motorsport-runRiley MkXXVI.[5] When it was used in theAcura ARX-05, it was dubbed the AR35TT.[6]
