Abel de Saint-Brieuc (French pronunciation:[abɛld(ə)sɛ̃bʁijø]) was a Roman Catholic prelate who served asAuxiliary Bishop of Reims (1483–?).[1][2]
Abel de Saint-Brieuc was ordained a priest in theOrder of Preachers.[1][2] On 22 Oct 1483, he was appointed byPope Sixtus IV asAuxiliary Bishop of Reims andTitular Bishop ofDionysias.[1][2] On 21 Dec 1483, he was consecrated bishop byPierre Fridaricus,Bishop of Nisyros, with Orlando,Bishop of Vaison, andBasilio Gambone,Bishop of Ploaghe, serving as co-consecrators.[1][2]
