Abbott is anunincorporated community inHardin County, in theU.S. state ofIowa.[1] It is at the junction of 150th Street and V Avenue.
Abbott wasplatted near the junction of theBurlington, Cedar Rapids and Northern Railway and theIowa Central Railway, in Sections 34 and 35 ofAetna Township (now Etna Township). The depot was located nearly a half a mile north of Abbott.[2]
Abbott's population was 53 in 1902,[3] and 106 in 1925.[4] The population was 34 in 1940.[5]
