Abadeh County (Persian:شهرستان آباده) is inFars province, Iran. Its capital is the city ofAbadeh.[3]
After the 2006 National Census,Khosrow Shirin Rural District was separated fromEqlid County to join theCentral District.[4] In July 2018,Bahman and Khosrow Shirin Rural Districts, and the cities ofBahman andSoghad, were separated from the district in the formation ofBahman and Soghad District.[5]
At the time of the 2006 census, the county's population was 87,203 in 23,387 households.[6] The following census in 2011 counted 98,188 people in 28,501 households.[7] The 2016 census measured the population of the county as 100,831 in 31,672 households.[2] It is the most populous county in northernFars province.
