Aatolana springthorpei is a species ofcrustaceans in the familyCirolanidae, first described byStephen John Keable in 1998.[2][1]
It isbenthic shrimp found in tropical waters at depths of 200 m to 203 m[3] on the continental shelves ofQueensland andNew South Wales.[4] Like other species in this genus it is a scavenger.[1] The males are similar to the females, and the species is most similar toA rapax.[1]
