Aarti Asha Pole is a Canadian journalist with theCanadian Broadcasting Corporation. She is currently a news anchor forCBC News Network.

Biography

Pole is ofIndian descent.[1] She was the Washington Correspondent forGlobal National with Dawna Friesen. Prior to that, she was a reporter forCBC News Network andCBC NewsToronto. She has been the news anchor ofCBC NewsVancouver andCBC NewsVancouver weekend newscast atCBUT,CBC'sVancouver branch inBritish Columbia, Canada. She was also a reporter forCBC News Vancouver and hosted the weekend afternoons on CBC Radio One in Vancouver.

Pole was a reporter and backup anchor atCBWT until 2010. Currently, she is a weekend anchor and a breaking news host at CBC News Network.
