Aaron Paryce Cheung, better known by his stage nameAaron Paris, is a Canadian songwriter, record producer, and string instrumentalist, best known for his contributions toAriana Grande albumEternal Sunshine and assortedDJ Khaled,Kehlani, andSean Leon projects.[1][2]
During childhood, Cheung began listening to the classical rock music his dad played for him. In high school, he immersed himself into hip hop groups, jazz bands, and classical music, later joining theToronto Symphony Youth Orchestra as a violinist.[3] He grew up in Toronto with fellow producersJack Rochon andAkeel Henry.[4]
In 2022, Cheung appeared on "Borders", a song from artist Luna Li's instrumental EPJams 2.[5] He also formed 'Strings From Paris', a Toronto string collective that hopes to break down barriers between classical musicians and contemporary music.[6][7][8]
In November 2024, he released projectLotusland.[9] It was recorded over two days in Toronto'sSt. Andrew's Church with a full orchestra.[9]
In 2025, Cheung was the music director forCharlotte Day Wilson's Toronto's Symphony Orchestra performance bridging Motown, jazz, and R&B.[10]
