Aaron Ago anak Dagang (born 12 December 1958) is aMalaysianpolitician who has served as theMinister of National Unity in the Unity Government administration under Prime MinisterAnwar Ibrahim since December 2022 and theMember of Parliament (MP) forKanowit since March 2004. He served as theDeputy Minister of Health II for the second term in theBarisan Nasional (BN) administration under former Prime MinisterIsmail Sabri Yaakob and former MinisterKhairy Jamaluddin from August 2021 to the collapse of the BN administration in November 2022 and his first term in thePerikatan Nasional (PN) administration under former Prime MinisterMuhyiddin Yassin and former MinisterAdham Baba from March 2020 to August 2021. He is a member of theParti Rakyat Sarawak (PRS), a component party of theGabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) coalition.[1]

Before entering the Parliament, he was the political secretary to the former Minister for Energy, Communications and Multimedia,Leo Moggie Irok.[2] He then replaced Moggie in theKanowit federal seat when the latter stepped down from politics during the2004 general elections.[3] After the election, hisSarawak Native People's Party (PBDS) was de-registered,[4] he then joined theSarawak Progressive Democratic Party (SPDP)[5] and later thePRS.[6] He retained the Kanowit seat in the2008 election unopposed.[7]
