A Romance of Seville is a 1929 British sound colordrama film directed byNorman Walker and starringAlexander D'Arcy,Marguerite Allan and Cecil Barry.[1] This was the first Britishsound film released in colour, using thePathéchrome stencil-colouring process.[2] While the film has no audible dialog, it features a synchronized musical score, singing and sound effects on the soundtrack. The film is also known by thealternative titleThe Romance of Seville.
The film features a theme song entitled "Pepita" which was composed by Hubert Bathand Harry Stafford.
