SuccessorARM Cortex-A530

TheARM Cortex-A520 is a "little"CPU core model fromArm unveiled in TCS23 (total compute solution)[1][2][3]it serves as a successor to the CPU coreARM Cortex-A510. The Cortex-A500 CPU cores series generally focus on high efficiency, the CPU core can be paired with the other CPU cores in its family likeARM Cortex-A720 or/andCortex-X4 in a CPU cluster.[4]

Improvements

[edit]
  • 8% peak performance improvement over theCortex-A510[5]
  • Support only64-bit applications
  • Up to 512 KiB of privateL2 cache (From 256 KiB)
  • AddQARMA3 Pointer Authentication (PAC) algorithm support
  • Update to ARMv9.2[6]
