AC927 or1-(2-phenylethyl)piperidine is a selectivesigma receptorantagonist, with reportedbinding affinity ofKi = 30 ± 2 nM for thesigma-1 receptor andKi = 138 ± 18 nM for thesigma-2 receptor, and negligible binding affinity for other majorcentral nervous system receptors, transporters, and ion channels.[1]
AC927 is reported to attenuate the locomotor stimulation induced by methamphetamine in mice.[1]
