TheA135[1] is a road inEngland, running fromStockton-on-Tees throughEaglescliffe toYarm on theA67, on the boundary with theRiver Tees. It is also known asYarm Road, and was theA19 before thedual carriageway was built.In the 19th century, astagecoach raced along Yarm Road againstLocomotion Number One which ran alongside on the Stockton to Darlington railway line. There is no record as to which won the race.
