TheA1077 road runs throughNorth Lincolnshire, England, betweenScunthorpe and South Killingholme.
The western terminus of the A1077 starts at theM181 motorwayFrodingham Grange roundabout in Gunness, next to the ground ofScunthorpe United F.C., a largeTesco, aFrankie & Benny's, the Gallagher Retail Park, andTravelodge Scunthorpe.[1] It is Scunthorpe's northern ring road, built as the North West Orbital in stages 1, 2A, 2B and 3, funded by theERDF, and known now as thePhoenix Parkway. There is left turn at theNeap House Junction for the B1216 for Gunness, inFlixborough, then theSkippingdale Roundabout for the Skippingdale Industrial Estate to the north andOSI Food Solutions to the south; this factory makes all the burgers forMcDonald's in the UK - 3 million a day.[2] There is theFoxhills Roundabout for the large Foxhills Industrial Estate, home of the nationalNisa (retailer), then a roundabout for the B1430 forNormanby Hall and theNormanby Distribution Park, then a smaller roundabout for theSawcliffe Industrial Estate to the south, and a roundabout with the A1029 (for Scunthorpe) at theDragonby Vale Enterprise Park.
It passes throughRoxby cum Risby, andRoxby, Lincolnshire itself. AtWinterton, the north-south route has a staggered junction with the B1430. The eastwards route is the parish boundary between Winterton andWinteringham, with a right turn for the B1207 for Winterton. The landscape is flat, alongside the southern bank of theHumber. It meets the A15 at the grade-separatedBarton on Humber Junction, built in 1978.
The road passes west-east through the middle ofBarton-upon-Humber. The road passes a formerKimberly-Clark factory, to the north, which madeHuggies. It passes throughThornton Curtis and theThornton Hunt,[3] thenWootton, North Lincolnshire and theNags Head.[4] This section of the road is part of a larger north-west to south-east route that is known asBarton Street and leads onto the A18. At Ulceby Grange there is a T-junction, and a right turn for the B1211, forCroxton andBrigg. The road passes west-east throughUlceby, North Lincolnshire.Barton Street is the B1211 to the south, at a right turn, leading to the A18. AtUlceby railway station there is alevel crossing with theBarton line, and the road enters South Killingholme, and passes theYarborough Arms.[5] A few hundred metres after the road is crossed by two 400kV pylon lines, the road has its eastern terminus at the A160 T-junction.

TheA1077(M)[6][7][8] is a temporary motorway that was created in 2021 as part of the Lincolnshire Lakes project. It was created when theM181 was split in two because of a new roundabout that would connect to Brumby Common Lane.
