Abbaiah Narayanaswamy is an Indian politician. He wasMinister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment of India in theSecond Modi ministry from 7 July 2021 to 11 June 2024.[1] He is also a member of theLok Sabha, lower house of theParliament of India fromChitradurga,Karnataka as a member of theBharatiya Janata Party. It became a controversy when he was denied entry into village of Pemmanahalli Gollarahatti in Pavagada taluk ofTumakuru district in his own constituency as he belongs toMadiga (Dalit) community.[2][3][4][5]
