In television, Leitch and McCormick have several projects in development, includingMy Friend Pedro, based on the video game series.[2]
Under 87North'sfirst-look deal withUniversal Pictures, in 2024 Leitch directed and McCormick and Leitch producedThe Fall Guy, a big screen take on the1980s television show starringRyan Gosling andEmily Blunt.[3]
December 10, 2025,Braden Aftergood joined the company to lead the film division.[4]
On April 22, 2019, 87North Productions signed a deal withUniversal Pictures, and in the process, acquired the 2021 filmNobody fromSTX Entertainment.[5]
87North has several projects in development with Universal. This includesKung Fu andVersus.[6] Also in development are the feature filmsRuby, a female assassin action feature written by Kat Wood forAmazon,[7] and an untitled film based off and starring American rock bandWeezer.[8] For television, Leitch and McCormick have several projects in development, includingMy Friend Pedro, based onthe video game of the same name.[9]
