First successful human flight: akite carryingYuan Huangtou lands in the proximity ofYe, China. EmperorWen Xuan Di sponsors the flight; Yuan is taken prisoner; other imprisoned kite flyers also fly, but those die and Yuan survives. Yuan is executed afterwards.^[1]
