The50501 movement continued to seeprotests organized in April 2025. TheDay of Action (sometimesNational Day of Action)^[1] was a series of protests against theDonald Trump administration held on April 19.^[2][3][4] Approximately 600 to 700 events were organized.^[5][6]

The Day of Action on April 19, 2025 was part of the50501 protests organized by the50501 movement. These demonstrations followed theHands Off protests held on April 5.

April 19 marked as an anniversary of the Battle of Lexington and Concord. Thats why the organisers have chosen this date as aDay of Action.^[7]

There were multiple protests in Connecticut.^[8]

There were protests in Maine.^[9][10]

In Massachusetts, the capital city ofBoston and most of Middlesex County celebrated the 250th anniversary ofPaul Revere's midnight ride and theBattles of Lexington and Concord that started the American Revolution, with uncanny parallels to present-day resistance to tyranny.^[11] Amongst the tens of thousands of local citizens and tourists that attended Lexington's battle reenactment and the town parades of both Concord and Lexington were fringes of anti-Trumpers who protested peacefully,^[12] both along the crowded sidelines and from within the parade itself.^[13] There was also a demonstration inShelburne Falls.^[14]

In New Hampshire, there was a protest in the capital city ofConcord.^[15]

Approximately 20 demonstrations were planned in North Carolina, including in the cities ofDurham,Huntersville,^[26]Raleigh,^[27] andAsheville.^[28]

Demonstrations were also planned inWashington, D.C.^[29] Protesters gathered outside the White House as well as J.D. Vance's residence.^[30][31]

In Texas, demonstrations were planned inGalveston,Houston,^[32] andSan Antonio,^[33] among other cities.^[34][35]

In Illinois, protests were planned inChicago^[36] andQuincy.^[37]

There were multiple protests in Michigan.^[38]

There were protests in Ohio.^[39]

In South Dakota, activities were planned inAberdeen,Pierre,Rapid City, andSioux Falls.^[40][41]

Gene Leahy Mall inOmaha, Nebraska was one of the sites used for demonstrations in Nebraska.^[42] An estimated 2,000 people were in attendance.^[43]

There were several protests in Colorado.^[44]

Approximately 2,000 people gathered at theIdaho State Capitol.^[45]

Hundreds of people protested inMissoula, Montana.^[46]

Thousands gathered at theUtah State Capitol inSalt Lake City for a rally and food drive.^[47]

In California, a protest was planned inSouth Lake Tahoe.^[48] A demonstration was held in San Francisco.^[49]

In Hawaii, a demonstration is scheduled to be held onMaui.^[50]

Several protests are planned in Oregon, including in the cities ofBeaverton,Bend,Corvallis,Dallas,Eugene,Gold Beach,Grants Pass,Klamath Falls,Portland,^[51][52]Roseburg,Salem, andTigard.^[53] Hundreds gathered at the Oregon State Capitol.^[54][55]

In Washington, a protest was planned inEdmonds.^[56] Demonstrations were held inPoulsbo,^[57]Sequim,^[58] andShoreline.^[59]
