46–48 Brown Street is aGrade II listed building inManchester, England. Situated in the Spring Gardens area of Manchester city centre nearKing Street, it was home to Brook's Bank. The building is also known asLombard Chambers.[1]
It was built as a bank in 1868, and designed byGeorge Truefitt. The building has a sandstoneashlar exterior and slate roof. It iseclectic in style but hasGothic elements. At the corner there is a three-storeyoriel window topped with an intricate ironwork crown.[2]
