4-Methyl-α-ethylaminopentiophenone (4-MEAP) is adesigner drug of thecathinone class.[2][3] It is a higherhomolog of4-methylpentedrone (4-MPD) with anethyl group in place of themethyl group. 4-MEAP has been found in samples of drugs sold as 4-MPD.[4]

In the United States, 4-MEAP is aSchedule I Controlled Substance.[5][6]
