368 Haidea is a large asteroid residing in theasteroid belt.[1] It was discovered byAuguste Charlois on 19 May 1893 inNice.

Its name meaning is not known; it may be taken from the operaHaydée or one of several fictional characters namedHaidée. TheTagish Lake meteorite is believed to derive from 368 Haidea, due to itsreflectance spectrum.[2]
