2981 Chagall, provisionally designated1981 EE20, is a Themistianasteroid from theasteroid belt, discovered on 2 March 1981 by American astronomerSchelte Bus atSiding Spring Observatory in New South Wales, Australia.[1]
The asteroid was named after the Russian-French painterMarc Chagall (1887–1985).[2]
