The21st Venice Biennale, held in 1938, was an exhibition of internationalcontemporary art, with 18 participating nations.[1] TheVenice Biennale takes placebiennially inVenice, Italy. Winners of theGran Premi (Grand Prize) included Spanish painterIgnacio Zuloaga, Swiss sculptorHerman Hubacher, British etcherBlair Hughes-Stanton, and Italians painterFelice Casorati, sculptorVenanzio Crocetti, and etcherMario Delitala.[2]
