United States gubernatorial elections are scheduled to be held on November 2, 2027, in the states ofKentucky andMississippi, as well as an election inLouisiana on October 9, 2027, (if no candidate receives a majority in the Louisiana primary, a runoff between the top two finishers will be held on November 13). In addition, special elections may take place (depending on state law) if other gubernatorial seats are vacated. These elections form part of the2027 United States elections. The last regular gubernatorial elections for all three states were in2023.

GovernorAndy Beshear was re-elected in2023 with 52.5% of the vote. He will beterm-limited by theKentucky Constitution in 2027 and cannot seek re-election to a third consecutive term.[1]
GovernorJeff Landry was elected in2023 with 51.6% of the vote. He is eligible to run for re-election but has not yet stated if he will do so.
GovernorTate Reeves was re-elected in2023 with 50.9% of the vote. He will beterm-limited by theMississippi Constitution in 2027 and cannot seek re-election to a third term.[2] Democratic nominee in 2023 and formerMississippi Public Service CommissionerBrandon Presley is listed as a potential candidate.[3]
