The2026 Wisconsin fall general election will take place in theU.S. state ofWisconsin on November 3, 2026. All of Wisconsin's partisan executive and administrative offices will be up for election, as well as all ofWisconsin's eight seats in theU.S. House of Representatives. The fall election will also fill the seventeen odd-numbered seats in theWisconsin Senate and all 99 seats in theWisconsin State Assembly for the108th Wisconsin Legislature. The2026 Wisconsin fall primary will take place on August 11, 2026.

The2026 Wisconsin spring election will take place on April 7, 2026. One seat on theWisconsin Supreme Court, as well as various nonpartisan local and judicial offices will be up for election. The2026 spring primary will take place on February 17, 2026.

Governor

IncumbentDemocraticgovernorTony Evers, first elected in2018, has announced that he will not run for re-election. This will be the first open seat gubernatorial election in Wisconsin since2010.

Lieutenant governor

Incumbent Democraticlieutenant governorSara Rodriguez, first elected in2022, has announced that she will not run for re-election as lieutenant governor, and will instead seek the Democratic nomination for governor.

Attorney general

Incumbent Democraticattorney generalJosh Kaul, first elected in2018, is running for a third four year term.

Secretary of state

Incumbent Democraticsecretary of stateSarah Godlewski, first appointed in 2023, is eligible to run for a full four year term, but will not do so. This will be the first open seat secretary of state election in Wisconsin since1978.

A regularly scheduledWisconsin Supreme Court election will be on the ballot for the spring general election, April 7, 2026, for a ten-year term on the court. The incumbent justice,Rebecca Bradley, is not running for re-election.[18]

State Court of Appeals

At least three seats on theWisconsin Court of Appeals will be on the ballot for the Spring general election, April 7, 2026.[a]

  • In District I, incumbent judgeJoe Donald has not indicated if he will seek a second six-year term. He was appointed to the court by GovernorTony Evers in 2019 and won election in 2020 without opposition.
  • In District II, incumbent judgeLisa Neubauer will not seek a fourth six-year term. She was appointed to the court by GovernorJim Doyle in January 2008, won election that Spring, won re-election without opposition in 2014, and defeated a challenger in 2020. Conservative attorney Anthony Loccoco has announced that he will run for this seat.
  • In District IV, incumbent judgeRachel A. Graham has not indicated if she will seek a second six-year term. She was appointed to the court by GovernorTony Evers in 2019 and won election in 2020 without opposition.

Waukesha County

  • A regularly scheduled mayoral election will be held inWaukesha, Wisconsin, concurrent with the general election on April 7, 2026. Incumbent mayor Shawn Reilly, first elected in 2014, has not indicated whether he will seek re-election. Current state representativeScott Allen is running for the office.[19]
