The2026 Pennsylvania House of Representatives election will be held on November 3, 2026, alongside the other2026 United States elections.[1] Voters will elect members of thePennsylvania House of Representatives in all 203 of theU.S. state ofPennsylvania's legislative districts to serve a two-year term.[2]

After being electedLehigh County Executive, RepresentativeJoshua Siegel resigned from the state House on December 17, 2025. A special election is scheduled for February 24.[4] The Democratic Party initially chose Julian Guridy, a staffer to state SenatorNick Miller, as its candidate. However, Guridy did not met the residency requirement to run for the state House and was forced to withdraw.[5] He was replaced byAllentown School Board member Ana Tiburcio.[6] The Republican Party has selected its2022 nominee Robert E. Smith Jr., a former Allentown School Board member.[7]

RepresentativeDan Miller was elected as a judge inAllegheny County in 2025 and resigned from the state House on December 17, 2025. A special election is scheduled for February 24.[4] The Democratic Party selectedDormont borough councilor Jennifer Mazzocco. The Republican Party selected2024 nominee Joseph Leckenby.[8]

RepresentativeLou Schmitt was elected as a judge inBlair County in 2025 and resigned on December 31.[9] A special election is scheduled for March 17.[10] The Republican Party has chosen Andrea Verobish, a staffer for CongressmanGlenn Thompson, as its candidate.[11] The Democratic Party nominated registered nurse Caleb McCoy.[12]

RepresentativeTorren Ecker was elected as a judge inAdams County in 2025 and resigned on December 30.[9] A special election is scheduled for March 17.[10] On January 15, Republicans in Cumberland and Adams counties selected Ecker staffer Catherine Wallen to be their nominee.[13] On January 24, Democrats nominated formerHarrisburg Area Community College official Todd Crawley.[14]

196th district

RepresentativeSeth Grove announced that he would resign effective January 31. He had previously stated that he would not seek reelection in 2026. Since January 1, Grove was CEO of the Pennsylvania Aggregates and Concrete Association, a lobbying group. Because he was also the minority chair of the Labor & Industry Committee, Grove faced accusations of a conflict of interest and announced his resignation under scrutiny.[15] A special election is scheduled to coincide with the primary election on May 19.[16]
