The2026 Louisville mayoral election will be held on November 3, 2026. The primary election will be held on May 19, with the top two candidates advancing to the general election.

Incumbent mayorCraig Greenberg, who was elected in2022, is running for reelection. Following a 2024 change in the election law by theKentucky General Assembly, this will be the firstnonpartisan mayoral election in Louisville; Greenberg is a member of theDemocratic Party.[1]
