The2026 Iowa Attorney General election will be held on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, to elect theAttorney General of Iowa. IncumbentBrenna Bird, who was first elected in2022, is running for re-election to a second term in office.[1]

Bird had originally considered a run forgovernor, but opted to seek re-election instead.[2][3] She won against longtime Iowa Attorney GeneralTom Miller, who was seeking an 11th term.[4]
