The2026 California State Treasurer election will be held on November 3, 2026, to elect thestate treasurer ofCalifornia. IncumbentDemocratic treasurerFiona Ma is term-limited and cannot seek re-election to a third term in office; she is insteadrunning for lieutenant governor. Candidates must declare by March 6, with primaries to be held on June 2.[1]
