• 5 February – TheEuropean General Court upholds theEuropean Commission's decision to withhold 320 million euros ($332 million) from payments to Poland as part of a fine imposed on the then-Law and Justice government regarding its judicial overhaul in 2021.^[4]
• 13 February –Solidarity endorsesKarol Nawrocki, theLaw and Justice (PiS) candidate for the2025 Polish presidential election^[5]
• 21 February – A court inWrocław sentences a Ukrainian national to eight years' imprisonment for plotting arson attacks on behalf of Russia.^[6]
• 27 February – A magnitude 3.1 earthquake hitsLower Silesian Voivodeship, injuring a miner inPolkowice.^[7]

• 20 March – A Ukrainian national is arrested inMasovian Voivodeship on suspicion of spying for Russia.^[8]

• 7 May – One person is killed in an axe attack inside theUniversity of Warsaw. The attacker is arrested.^[13]
• 10 May –Bogdanka LUK Lublin wins its first Polish Volleyball Championship, defeatingWarta Zawiercie in the finals (see2024–25 PlusLiga).^[14]
• 12 May – The Polish government orders the closure of the Russian consulate inKraków following authorities blaming a fire that destroyed theMarywilska 44 shopping center in 2024 on arson orchestrated by Moscow.^[15]
• 17 May – Poland'sJustyna Steczkowska finishes in 14th place atEurovision 2025 in Switzerland with the single "Gaja".^[16]
• 18 May –2025 Polish presidential election (first round):Rafał Trzaskowski wins a plurality of the vote with 31.1%, followed byKarol Nawrocki with 29.1%.^[17]
• 24 May –Lech Poznań wins its ninth Polish Football Championship (see2024–25 Ekstraklasa).^[18]

• 6 July – Poland imposes temporaryborder controls on crossings with Germany in Lithuania as part of efforts to curb the flow of irregular asylum-seekers.^[27]
• 17 July – Three doctors are convicted of involuntary manslaughter and are sentenced to up to 18 months' imprisonment and a six-year ban on practicing medicine over the death of a pregnant woman fromsepsis inPszczyna in 2021 that led to nationwide protests over alleged links to anti-abortion laws.^[28]
• 19 July –Anti-immigration protests organised byKonfederacja are held across Poland.^[29][30]
• 21 July – Alight aircraft crashes inStrąkowa,Lower Silesian Voivodeship, injuring the two people on board.^[31]

• 9 August – More than 100 people are arrested for rioting during a concert by Belarusian rapperMax Korzh at theStadion Narodowy inWarsaw.^[35]

• 20 August – A suspected Russian military drone crashes into a cornfield nearOsiny, Łuków County, inLublin Voivodeship.^[37][38]
• 25 August – President Nawrocki vetoes a bill that would have extended financial support for Ukrainians fleeing theRusso-Ukrainian war as well as funding forStarlink systems to maintain Ukraine's internet connectivity.^[39] A revised version of the bill is subsequently signed on September 29.^[40]
• 26 August – A magnitude 2.0 earthquake hits theSilesian Voivodeship, injuring three people at theMysłowice-Wesoła Coal Mine.^[41]

• 9 September – Poland orders the expulsion of a Belarusian diplomat for spying and arrests a suspected Belarusian spy.^[46]
• 9–10 September –Russian drone incursion into Poland: Poland says that it shot down Russian drones which violated its airspace during a Russian attack on Ukraine.^[47]

• 30 September –Nord Stream pipelines sabotage: Authorities arrest aUkrainian diver inPruszków,Masovian Voivodeship, who is suspected of his involvement in the 2022Nord Stream pipeline explosions in theBaltic Sea.^[53]

• 7 October – TheEuropean Parliament lifts the immunity of Polish MEPsDaniel Obajtek andMichał Dworczyk as part of a corruption investigation against them.^[55]
• 20 October – TheVia Baltica connecting Poland and the Baltic States is inaugurated in a ceremony led by President Nawrocki and Lithuanian presidentGitanas Nausėda at theLithuania–Poland border.^[56]
• 21 October – Eight people, including three Ukrainian nationals, are arrested on suspicion of plotting sabotage attacks in Poland.^[57]

• 7 November – TheSejm lifts theparliamentary immunity of former justice ministerZbigniew Ziobro, clearing the way for prosecutors to charge him with 26 offences, includingabuse of power andmisuse of public funds from theJustice Fund.^[61]
• 16 November – A suspected sabotage attack is carried out on sections of theWarsaw-Lublin railway nearMika,Masovian Voivodeship^[62] andPuławy,Lublin Voivodeship. Two Ukrainian citizens are identified as suspects.^[63]
• 19 November – Poland orders the closure of the Russian consulate inGdańsk after accusing Moscow of carrying out sabotage attacks on its railway systems.^[64]
• 23 November –South Korean pianist Roh Hyunjin wins the 13thInternational Paderewski Piano Competition held at thePomeranian Philharmonic inBydgoszcz,Kuyavian–Pomeranian Voivodeship.^[65]
• 25 November — TheEuropean Court of Justice orders Poland to recognize same-sex marriages registered in other EU member-states in the case of a Polish couple who married in Germany and had their certificate rejected by Polish authorities.^[66]

• 1 December – 73 Polish-Teutonic documents from the 13th-15th centuries,stolen by Germany from Warsaw during World War II, were returned by Germany to Poland.^[67]
• 3 December – ThePolish Communist Party is declared unlawful by theConstitutional Tribunal.^[68][69]
• 10 December – Three Spanish nationals are injured in an attack nearOstrow Mazowiecka on supporters ofRayo Vallecano travelling for a2025–26 UEFA Conference League match in againstJagiellonia Białystok. Seven people are arrested.^[70]
• 18 December – TheEuropean Court of Justice rules that thePolish Constitutional Tribunal had disregarded EU law and was not operating in an "independent and impartial" manner due to politicized appointments made by the previousLaw and Justice government.^[71]
