The2025 General Tire 150 was the second stock car race of the2025 ARCA Menards Series season, the second race of the2025 ARCA Menards Series West season, and the 6th running of theevent. The race was held on Friday, March 7, 2025, atPhoenix Raceway inAvondale, Arizona, a 1-mile (1.6 km) permanent asphalt tri-oval shaped speedway. The race was originally scheduled to be contested over 150 laps, but was increased to 165 laps due to multipleovertime restarts. In a wild finish,Brent Crews, driving forJoe Gibbs Racing, made a last lap pass onBrenden Queen to earn his third careerARCA Menards Series win, his first careerARCA Menards Series West win, and his first win of the season.[5] Crews and Queen dominated the entire race, leading nearly every lap of the event, with Queen leading a race-high 95 laps. To fill out the podium,Treyten Lapcevich, driving forVenturini Motorsports, would finish in 3rd, respectively.

Phoenix Raceway is a 1-mile, low-bankedtri-oval race track located inAvondale, Arizona, nearPhoenix. Themotorsport track opened in 1964 and currently hosts twoNASCAR race weekends annually including the final championship race since2020. Phoenix Raceway has also hosted theCART,IndyCar Series,USAC and theWeatherTech SportsCar Championship. The raceway is currently owned and operated by NASCAR.

The raceway was originally constructed with a 2.5 mi (4.0 km)road course that ran both inside and outside of the main tri-oval. In 1991 the track was reconfigured with the current 1.51 mi (2.43 km) interior layout. PIR has an estimated grandstand seating capacity of around 67,000. Lights were installed around the track in 2004 following the addition of a second annual NASCAR race weekend.

Phoenix Raceway is home to two annual NASCAR race weekends, one of 13 facilities on the NASCAR schedule to host more than one race weekend a year. The track is both the first and last stop in the western United States, as well as the fourth and the last track on the schedule.

Starting lineup

Practice and qualifying were originally scheduled to be held on Friday, March 7, at 2:30 PM and 3:30 PMMST, but were both cancelled due to inclement weather.[6] The starting lineup was determined by last season's owners' points (including 2024 West Series points). As a result,Brent Crews, driving forJoe Gibbs Racing, was awarded the pole.[7]
