The2025 Council of the District of Columbia Ward 8 special election was held on July 15, 2025, to elect one member of theCouncil of the District of Columbia . The election was called following the expulsion ofTrayon White from the council.[ 1]
Former councilmember Trayon White wasre-elected in 2024 with 75% of the vote.[ 2] FBI in 2024.[ 3] [ 4]
