The2025 Cleveland City Council election was held on November 4, 2025. The primary elections were held on September 9, 2025. All 15 seats onCleveland City Council were up for election. Elections inCleveland are officially nonpartisan, with the top two candidates from the primary election advancing to the general election, regardless of party. This was the first election held under new ward maps. City Council lost two seats due to population decline.[1]
