The2025 Big East Men's Basketball Tournament was the postseason men's basketball tournament for theBig East Conference held March 12–15, 2025, atMadison Square Garden inNew York City.[1] The winner,St. John's, received the conference's automatic bid to the2025 NCAA Tournament.

The double-overtime quarterfinal game between DePaul and Creighton on March 13 was the first multi-overtime game in theBig East tournament since the foundation of the new Big East Conference in the offseason of 2013.[2] It also was the first in the tournament since a double-overtime game in2012,[2] when the tournament belonged to theoriginal Big East Conference of 1979–2013.

Seeds

All 11 Big East schools participated in the tournament. Teams wereseeded by conference record with tie-breaking procedures to determine the seeds for teams with identical conference records. The top five teams received first-round byes. Seeding for the tournament was determined at the close of the regular conference season.
