Qualification

[edit]

Qualification was originally scheduled to take place at 11:20 AM on 12 July.[4] However, due to adverse weather conditions, the session was postponed to start at 12:00 PM. Due to time constraints, the duels were not held and the group stages were used to decide the starting grid.[5] Because of this the three extra points were not awarded to the driver who obtained pole position.
