The2025 Allsvenskan will be the 101st season since its establishment in 1924 of Sweden's top-level football league,Allsvenskan. The season will begin in 29 March 2025 and end in 9 November 2025 (not including play-off matches).

Teams

The league will consist of sixteen teams; the top fourteen sides from theprevious season, and two teams promoted from the2024 Superettan. The promoted teams wereDegerfors IF (promoted after a single year absence) andÖsters IF (promoted after a 11 years absence), replacing the Allsvenskan relegated teams ofKalmar FF (relegated after 21 years in top flight) andVästerås SK (relegated after a single year in top flight).Malmö FF will enter the season as defending champions.
