The2025–26 season is the 148th season in the history ofWolverhampton Wanderers Football Club, and their eighth consecutive season in thePremier League. In addition to thedomestic league, the club is also participating in theFA Cup and theEFL Cup.

Managerial changes

On 2 November,Vítor Pereira was sacked after less than a year in charge and a 36.84% win ratio as well as a winless start to thePremier League season, where he lost 8 out of 10 Premier League games, and drew 2. He also had Wolves rock bottom in 20th.[2] Ten days later,Rob Edwards was appointed as head coach fromMiddlesbrough.[3]

Pre-season and friendlies
