The2025–26 season is the 114th season in the history ofSwansea City Association Football Club and their eighth consecutive season in theChampionship. In addition to thedomestic league, the club would also participate in theFA Cup, and theEFL Cup.

Managerial changes

On 11 November,Alan Sheehan was sacked as head coach after 32 games in official charge and a win percentage of 40.63%.[1] Thirteen days later,Vítor Matos was appointed as the new head coach on a three-and-a-half-year contract fromMarítimo.[2]

Pre-season and friendlies

On 30 April, Swansea City announced they would faceExeter City in a pre-seasontestimonial forPierce Sweeney.[62] A week-long training camp inMurcia was also confirmed, along with a friendly againstStevenage.[63] A third friendly was later added, againstCheltenham Town.[64] On 19 June, a home friendly againstLigue 1 sideLorient was announced.[65]
