Pre-season and friendlies

On 16 May, Derby County announced a pre-season training camp inTyrol, Austria between 14–19 July 2025, including a friendly againstRed Bull Salzburg.[82][83] Three days later, the club confirmed their pre-season preparations would begin with a trip to faceMatlock Town.[84] A second friendly was later confirmed, againstBurton Albion for theBass Charity Vase.[85] A third was later added, againstWalsall.[86] On 30 June, a fifth pre-season friendly was announced againstSolihull Moors.[87] A home friendy fixture againstAtromitos was also announced.[88]
