The2025–26 Boston Celtics season is the franchise's 80th season in theNational Basketball Association (NBA). This will be the first season under the ownership ofBill Chisholm. For the first time since 2015, the Celtics did notplay on Christmas Day amidst the year long absence ofJayson Tatum to rehabilitate his tornAchilles tendon.
