Qualification for the2024 Women's Africa Cup of Nations began on the week of 20–26 September 2023 and concluded on the week of 29 November – 5 December the same year. Its draw was held at theMohammed VI Football Academy inSalé,Morocco on 6 July 2023 at 18:00CET (UTC+1).[1]

A total of 12 teams qualified for the group stages and joined automatically-qualified hostsMorocco.

Format

Qualification ties took place on a home-and-awaytwo-legged basis. If the aggregate score was tied after the second leg, theaway goals rule was applied, and if still tied, thepenalty shoot-out (noextra time).[2]
