It was contested by the reigning champions of theRussian Cup and theRussian Premier League,FC Zenit Saint Petersburg and the runners-up of the 2023–24 Premier League,FC Krasnodar. It was played atVolgograd Arena inVolgograd,Russia and Zenit won 4–2, its fifth consecutive title of Russian Super Cup.
