The2024 Oregon Attorney General election was held on November 5, 2024, to elect theattorney general ofOregon. Incumbent Democratic attorney generalEllen Rosenblum was originally appointed to the role by formerGovernorJohn Kitzhaber on June 29, 2012, to finish the term of her predecessorJohn Kroger, who resigned from office.[1] She waselected to a full term in 2012 andre-elected in 2016 and2020. This office is not subject to term limits.[2] In September 2023, Rosenblum announced that she would not seek re-election to a fourth term.[3]
Primary elections took place May 21, 2024.[4] Democratic nomineeDan Rayfield won the general election on November 5, 2024.[5]
