It was the 55th edition of theWashington Open for the men, and the 12th edition for the women. The event was part of theATP Tour 500 series of the2024 ATP Tour and aWTA 500 tournament on the2024 WTA Tour. The Washington Open took place at theWilliam H.G. FitzGerald Tennis Center in Washington, D.C., United States, from 29 July to 4 August 2024 and was played on a hard court manufactured by Har-Tru Sports Coatings.[1][2][3]
