This was the thirteenth edition of the tournament and took place at theQueensland Tennis Centre inTennyson as part of the Australian Open Series in preparation for the first Grand Slam of the year, and this was also the first tournament since 2020 (and men's events since 2019) after intervening editions cancelled due to theCOVID-19 pandemic.[1]
