The2024–25 Super Smash was the 20th season of the men'sSuper SmashTwenty20cricket competition played in New Zealand that took place between 26 December 2024 and 2 February 2025.[1][2][3][4] TheAuckland Aces were the defending champions coming into the tournament.[5]

The tournament ran alongside the2024–25 Plunket Shield and2024–25 Ford Trophy.[6]

The tournament was won by theCentral Stags, who defeatedCanterbury in the final and was chosen to participate in the2025 Global Super League.[7][8]

Competition format

Teams played in adouble round-robin in a group of six, therefore playing 10 matches each. Matches were played using aTwenty20 format. The top team in the group advanced straight to the final, whilst the second and third placed teams played off in an elimination final.

The group worked on a points system with positions being based on thetotal points. Points were awarded as follows:
