The2024–25 Cal State Northridge Matadors men's basketball team representedCalifornia State University, Northridge during the2024–25 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Matadors, led by second-year head coachAndy Newman, played their home games at thePremier America Credit Union Arena located inNorthridge, California as members of theBig West Conference.

They finished the season 22–11, 14–6 in Big West play, to finish in a tie for third place.^[1] In theBig West tournament they were defeated byUC Santa Barbara in the quarterfinals,^[2] and in the first-ever appearance in theNIT, lost toStanford in the first round.^[3]

Previous season

TheMatadors finished the2023–24 season 19–15, 9–11 in Big West play, to finish in a tie for seventh place.^[4] In theBig West tournament, they defeatedUC Santa Barbara in the first round^[5] before falling toHawaii in the quarterfinals.^[6]
