The2023 Weber State Wildcats football team representedWeber State University as a member of theBig Sky Conference during the2023 NCAA Division I FCS football season. The Wildcats were led by first-year head coachMickey Mental and played atStewart Stadium inOgden, Utah. Mental took over for longtime coachJay Hill who left for thedefensive coordinator job withBYU.[1]
On July 23, 2023, during the virtual Big Sky Kickoff, the Wildcats were predicted to finish fourth in the Big Sky by the coaches and sixth by the media.[2]
