The2023 U Sports Women's Volleyball Championship was held March 17–19, 2023, inVancouver,British Columbia, to determine anational champion for the 2022–23U Sports women's volleyball season.[2][3] In a match between the two most recent champions, the hostUBC Thunderbirds defeated the top-seededTrinity Western Spartans to win the program's 13th national championship.[4][5]
The tournament was played atWar Memorial Gymnasium at theUniversity of British Columbia.[2] This was the third time that UBC had hosted the tournament with the most recent occurring in 1983.[6] UBC had previously been awarded the hosting duties for the2021 championship, but that event was cancelled due to theCOVID-19 pandemic in Canada.[7][8]
